This special “tactic” should be used on your blog, in your emails, and in your overall communication strategy with those that follow your advice.
And it is…
USE YOUR PERSONAL STORY!
I think the need for this is even more important nowadays considering all the generic blogs and non-emotional content out on the internet.
No one connects with that junk.
If you want to people to come back to your blog and share it with others and want to be able to connect with your list much more effectively then you need to spill the beans.
Tell people about YOU…
Tell them about your struggles and challenges…
Show them that you’re a REAL person and not just some robot who is putting up simple facts and boring reviews.
The internet is full of junk and you need to separate yourself from the herd.
And the only that separates YOU from the rest is…
Here are some ideas to help you build your personal story into your marketing strategy:
- Have a “story” page (not an “about” page) on your blog where you narrate your own journey, struggles, and how you finally found the solution (ie. one of our programs).
- Create occasional blog posts or emails relating to everyday experiences in your life where again you show people that you are real and can relate to their challenges.
- Post your own videos on your blog showing people your true personality. You’ll be amazed at how powerful video is for bonding and building trust with your audience.
- Talk about what you had for dinner last night, what your workouts look like, your personal weight loss journey, etc… Essentially, use your blog as your online journal.
Again, these are just suggestions and you don’t have to use them but I can tell you that you’ll get more comments on your blog posts and involve your audience to a much greater degree than simply posting “blah, blah, blah” content.
The end result…
You’ll have an easier time INFLUENCING and PERSUADING your followers when it’s time to tell them to buy one of our programs.
